The 2009 Annual Meeting of the Wyatt Farm Homeowners Association, held on December 10, was well attended and had lively discussions. Outgoing HOA President Tom Rubenstein led the meeting and discussed various activities that the HOA Board of Directors has been involved in this past year.

Due to the many problems caused by the large skunk population this year, the Wyatt Farm HOA Board arranged for skunk traps to be set throughout our neighborhood for two weeks in August. In March and April, Virginia Tech students conducted a study of the Wyatt Farm pond. Their conclusions include:
The pond supports a healthy largemouth bass population.
The population of small prey fish has declined and could benefit from minor structure enhancements.
The algae in the pond is typical and can be easily controlled.
